Seeking- Good Tasting Cheap Vodka?

I am spoiled on the high dollar --Chopin, etc. etc.

Tried Smirnoff yesterday--God Awfull tasting to me.

Is there a vodka you can drink over ice that tastes decent and doesn't ruin the wallet?

If you are going to drink it straight I would forget about anything cheap - I believe the best for the price is Ketel One - not that it's cheap - but how many do you need if your're drinking martinis

Thats the first thing I thought of when I saw the thread title. Wont go near hard liquor anymore unless I'm at a casino. But tried out so many kinds back in the day and I found ketel one has the best bang for the buck.

Absolut is not that expensive, give it a try.

Only vodka I like straight up is GG orange. GG regular straight up isnt bad, but I didnt enjoy it as much.

Ketel one is nice and reasonable...

have only had a serious hangover one time after drinking Ketel one, and that is when I started drinking ketel one and redbull from 1030AM to 12ish AM in vegas...so that one doesn't count.

Ciroc is supposed to be nice as well. I had this a couple of weeks ago...I think it's a tad more than Ketel; a buddy said that it's made with something else than what normal vodka is made with..

I'm a big fan of Svedka vodka. It's not bad and inexpensive.


One vodka that doesn't get the credit it should is "Hangar One". It's just as good as "Grey Goose". My friend and I had a taste tasting about a month ago to try and figure out why one is more popular than the other. We've determined it's just the marketing and the bottle itself. :lolBIG:

I pay $23 for a 1.75 of 3 Olives. To me, if I am not paying for Chopin you can't beat 3 Olives. Cheaper and just as good as Absolut, Finlandia, Ketel One, etc. and a 1.75 doesn't last long in my house.
